Many congratulations to Louise and Ben who had a fantastic wedding at Trunkwell House in Beech Hill near Reading.
This is a really local venue to me and one which I used to photograph at week in week out in the early days of my career. So it was great to go back again after a long absence and to see it still has its charm and intimacy. Louise and Ben had their ceremony to start with for just their close family and friends followed by a fantastic lunch. Later that afternoon more guests arrived and to experience a garden party at the back of the building with a huge spacious marquee. Lots of activities were laid on as well as an afternoon buffet and then finally an evening barbeque. So no one went home hungry !
A couple of things I’ll never forget about Louise and Ben’s wedding is the bright colour theme they had planned throughout the day which you can obviously see in my favourites below. And of course Louise’s really cool wedding shoes. Better than Jimmy Choos any day ! Anyway it was great day for everyone and one which I really enjoyed photographing as there was so much happening.
