Tara and Daniel’s wedding at The Grims Dyke Hotel

612 Tara and Daniels wedding at The Grims Dyke Hotel

Many congratulations to Tara and Daniel who, as we speak, are just fighting their way through the airport on their return from honeymoon in Malta.

You see, Tara and Daniel are serial Twitters like myself and have a great sense of humour. So I was really delighted to be part of their day and was half expecting them to Twitter their vows ! Now that would’ve been something to photograph !

This was a wonderful day despite the grim (excuse the pun) weather. This meant we could only do a handful of shots in the gardens and had to run for cover just as I had arranged the mother of large groups ! I literally had 1 second to spare as the monsoon descended on Harrow.

The complete set can now be seen here with a password protected gallery. This is Tara’s surname followed by Daniel’s, all lower case with no gaps. And of course below is a snapshot of the day with some of my many favourites. Feel free to add any comments and to Twitter ! Enjoy.

Wedding photography at Bluebells Restaurant in Sunningdale, Berks

190 Wedding photography at Bluebells Restaurant in Sunningdale, Berks

I always look forward to the first wedding of the year in particular Heidi and Karl’s who had their reception at my favourite restaurant – Bluebells in Sunningdale. Not only that but they wanted absolutely no formal group shots.

The day started with some prep shots of Heidi getting ready followed by the ceremony itself at the historic Guildhall in Windsor. Afterwards a  London double decker bus transported the guests to Bluebells. It was good to meet a familiar face again – Mike Taylor the Saxophonist. I’ve met Mike on several weddings during the last year and his music always inspires me to take great photos ! Anyhow, as expected, the food, service and general atmosphere was second to none and hopefully from the images below you will see what I mean.

Lydie and Noah. Wedding photography at The Bingham Hotel, Richmond On Thames

Thank you

As 2008 draws to a close I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to all my clients this year and from previous years.

I’ve had real fun, relaxed clients this year who completely trust me leave me to get on with my job. I can consequently produce my best work in these situations. I’ve had some amazing locations this year as well, probably the best ever – Rockfield Church in Monmouthshire, Grittenham Barn in Sussex, Leeds Castle Kent, Wells Cathedral, Kew Gardens, Packington Moor in Staffordshire, Winchester College, The Elvetham Hotel in Hampshire, Etton Village Church in Lincolnshire, Bisham Abbey Marlow, L’Ortolan restaurant, and just recently Danby Castle North Yorks.

And once again I’d like to wish all my clients a very happy and prosperous 2009.
