Old Luxters Barn wedding photography – Louise and Mark

old luxters barn wedding photography069 Old Luxters Barn wedding photography Louise and Mark

I really enjoyed photographing Louise and Mark’s wedding at Old Luxters Barn last month. They’re a really laid back couple with Mark being a bonzer Aussie ! Mark is also a very keen and excellent photographer as well and we share the same passion. I must admit I did enjoy having a quick flick through his photography books (Helmut Newton in particular) whilst I photographed the preps at their home in Harpsden. In fact things were running late due to an awful snarl up on the M25 the day before. It meant that Louise’s make up artist from east London was stuck in heavy traffic. Anyhow she must be congratulated on getting there just in time and doing an excellent job under extreme pressure. It meant that Louise was late (I wont say how long !) but at the end of the day it didn’t really matter and everyone could still enjoy the day as normal.

The ceremony was held in the beautiful old church of St Mary’s in Harpsden. After some formal family shots on the lawn we then made the short journey across the Oxfordshire countryside to Luxters for the reception. Here I managed to get some really great portraits of them in the woods across the road. We deliberately waited for the light to drop to give a bit more atmosphere to the shots and luckily the moon was visible as well. So it was out with the fast primes and cranked up ISO’s !

Below are some of my many favourites. The complete set as usual can be viewed by clicking here You will need a password which can be obtained from Louise and Mark. Any queries please feel free to contact me

444 Wedding Photography Henley On Thames, The Crown Inn Pishill Christie & Jim

Welcome to my last wedding of 2009.

Christie and Jim had a lovely, intimate wedding at The Crown Inn in Pishill, Oxfordshire which was the perfect finale to 2009. Most of the day was spent indoors due to the rain and grey weather but this didn’t prevent everyone having a great time and in fact added to the intimacy of the occasion. Below are some of my favourites and of course the complete set is now ready to view online. Please contact me or Christie for details. Please feel free to add any comments. If I do not post again this year I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and prosperous and healthy 2010.
