A riverside, English wedding…The Compleat Angler is a romantic riverside setting on the banks of The Thames. This idyllic location is perfect for your special day, whether it’s a winter wedding with roaring fires and mistletoe or a summer one on the lawn with Champagne and Pimms. Up to 120 guests can be seated in in one of the many function rooms for civil ceremonies. This can also be extended out onto the terrace and lawn for champagne and canapes. Here you’ll have some fantastic photography opportunities with the elegant and eye catching Marlow bridge in the background. You can also take a short trip in one of the hotels dedicated wedding boats. There is en suite accomodation as well as award winning food and drink which will be hugely enjoyed by your guests. In addition there’ll be a dedicated wedding planner to hand throughout the whole day to ensure everything runs to plan and that you have a truely memorable and stress free wedding.
Here’s one of my favourite images of Petrina and Richard. I did their wedding photography at The Compleat Angler in October 2011. A truely memorable day with lots of beautiful autumn sunshine as well. This gave me some fantastic photo opportunities on the lawn with the town of Marlow and the picturesque church in the background. After this we took some shots on the famous suspension bridge with fantastic views of the Thames and The Compleat Angler in the background.
