The Royal Berkshire Hotel Wedding Photographer

The Royal Berkshire Hotel will provide you with a truly memorable wedding with its fantastic backdrops, fountains and landscaped lawns. It can accommodate upto 150 guests under the chandeliers in the Berkshire Suite. And for the larger weddings a Marquee can be set up on the lawn to take up to 500 friends and family to party into the early hours.

The gardens provide a fantastic backdrop fro your wedding photography as you can see here from Camille and Michael’s wedding back in the autumn of 2010. The hotel can also offer a dedicated wedding consultant, a bridal suite and can personally tailor a package for you. It also has a licence for civil ceremonies and has reception rooms to hold up to 180 guests. Camille and Michael’s wedding was on a lovely mild October day. They had a beautiful ceremony here in the Berkshire Suite which was followed by Champagne and canapes on the adjacent lawn. And the weather was ideal for photography – thin cloud with soft sunlight.

After the reception drinks and some formal group shots we headed off to take some bridal portraits in the surrounding gardens. This was then followed by the wedding breakfast and some memorable and humorous speeches in The Marlborough Room. Afterwards  the rooms were changed around to prepare for the evening celebrations with the 2 main rooms being converted into one with a removable wall.

The evening started with a bang with Michael’s Irish Folk Band performing accompanied by some energetic gaelic dancing. The evening was then concluded with a tossing of the bouquet and then a disco into the early hours.
