0361 Sarah and Alexs engagement session

Here’s some favourites from I session I did recently (actually the same day Wills and Katie tied the knot).

Next month I’ll be photographing Sarah and Alex’s wedding which promises to be a real English affair deep in the Gloucestershire countryside. Can’t wait !

We decided to do the session close to their home to take advantage of the spring weather and natural beauty of the area. But I never knew how close they were to Castle Combe -  ‘The Prettiest Village in England’ so was delighted to be able to take some shots there. And it was very quiet for once due to the Royal wedding.

Rococco Gardens, Cotswold Wedding Photography

Many congratulations to Katrina and Scott who tied the knot in what must be one of the most idyllic settings in Britain, a photographer’s dream !

This was a day of fun, tears, laughter and great company with guests from the UK and the US where they both live.

I started with prep shots at The Hatton Court Hotel As Katrina and Scott were a few doors away it was great that I could get shots of both of them and their attendants. And from here it was a 5 minute drive to Rococco Gardens a magnificent setting and a step back to the 18th century English Garden Design. Katrina and Scott had their ceremony in the Red House, a very rustic building with a fantastic vista for the bridal party to walk up.

And then it was back to Hatton Court for the evening reception. I always look out for good light and finally as the sun dropped and the clouds parted we had no more than 10 minutes to take some great sunset shots (as you can see above). It was then time for their good friend Sean Benjamin to sing for their first dance followed by a disco for the more energetic.

Below are some more favourites and the complete set is also ready to view here The password is Katrina’s surname followed by Scott’s, all lower case with no gaps. Please feel free to add any comments (nice ones please ). Enjoy
