Many congratulations to Katherine and David who got married last month at Wellington College in Berkshire.

The day started with some prep shots at their home just 5 minutes away. Once at Wellington College for the ceremony the photo opportunities are endless together with some beautiful autumnal colours. And then it was on to the Crown and Cushion in Blackwater for the reception by means of a 1949 Bedford Charabanc This is a great venue, quite dark but looks great with just candlelight.

Here are some favourites from an engagement portrait session in Windsor, Berkshire. This was of Anna and Kong and I’ll be doing their wedding photography at The Olde Bell in Hurley later this month. These are always fun and relaxed to do especially at a favourite location. As Anna and Kong both live in Windsor and the fact I attended a trade show there on the same day, this was an ideal location.

In fact the plan on their wedding day is to go for a short stroll around Windsor straight after the ceremony at The Guild Hall. This will be great fun and I’m sure the tourists will be snapping away like mad. So in a way this engagement shoot was like a warm up, rehearsal minus the white dress and suits of course. 190 Wedding photography at Bluebells Restaurant in Sunningdale, Berks

I always look forward to the first wedding of the year in particular Heidi and Karl’s who had their reception at my favourite restaurant – Bluebells in Sunningdale. Not only that but they wanted absolutely no formal group shots.

The day started with some prep shots of Heidi getting ready followed by the ceremony itself at the historic Guildhall in Windsor. Afterwards a  London double decker bus transported the guests to Bluebells. It was good to meet a familiar face again – Mike Taylor the Saxophonist. I’ve met Mike on several weddings during the last year and his music always inspires me to take great photos ! Anyhow, as expected, the food, service and general atmosphere was second to none and hopefully from the images below you will see what I mean.

My last wedding in September and what a great month it’s been. This was no exception with Julie and James fantastic wedding at The Great House in Sonning On Thames, Berkshire.

Sonning is only 10 minutes from me and if I was a football team it’d be like playing at home. I started the day off by photographing Julie at home and then a short 2 minute drive to the picturesque St Andrews Church for the ceremony. After this we all made the short walk across the road to The Great House for the reception. As with my other weddings this month we were blessed with beautiful early evening light. 1128 Praveen and Harmeets wedding at Slough Sikh Temple

Congratulations to Praveen and Harmeet who got married at Slough Sikh Temple which was followed by a reception and Bahai ceremony at Harmeet’s home in the evening. This was preceded by a Henna Mehndi ceremony 2 days before at Praveen’s home. All very colourful with lots happening, enough to keep me busy. Anyhow a fantastic experience with lots of fun, laughter and tears.
