Wedding Photography Henley On Thames, The Crown Inn Pishill Christie & Jim

444 Wedding Photography Henley On Thames, The Crown Inn Pishill Christie & Jim

Welcome to my last wedding of 2009.

Christie and Jim had a lovely, intimate wedding at The Crown Inn in Pishill, Oxfordshire which was the perfect finale to 2009. Most of the day was spent indoors due to the rain and grey weather but this didn’t prevent everyone having a great time and in fact added to the intimacy of the occasion. Below are some of my favourites and of course the complete set is now ready to view online. Please contact me or Christie for details. Please feel free to add any comments. If I do not post again this year I’d like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very Happy Christmas and prosperous and healthy 2010.

Wedding photography at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire – Juliet and David

483 Wedding photography at Stapleford Park in Leicestershire Juliet and David

After a break of nearly 7 weeks it was great to get back into the routine again. In fact the break did me a world of good as its a time to catch up on marketing and other jobs you never seem to get around to. Not only that but you come back with renewed enthusiasm and fresh eyes. Which is why I was delighted with these images from Juliet and David’s wedding at Stapleford Park. Late autumn, early winter weddings can be a lot more challenging with the often bad weather and lack of light. At the same time low light with candlelight often gives a lovely, intimate and warm atmosphere.

I must also mention the band – Get Funked, who I’ve met before on weddings and who truly are as their title says ‘The Ultimate Party Band’. Great entertainment.

Below are some of my many favourites from the day. To see the complete set please click on ‘Links’ above, then ‘client area’ and type in the password which you will all know. Please feel free to add any comments below.

Hope you can see these OK in Bali David. Have a great honeymoon !

Suzie and Alex’s wedding in Danby Castle, North Yorks

290 1 Suzie and Alexs wedding in Danby Castle, North Yorks

Photographically 2008 has been a fantastic year with some great clients and the most picturesque locations. So it was fitting to do my last wedding of 2008 of Suzie and Alex at Danby Castle in North Yorks.

Straight after Heather and David’s wedding we headed north on the M6. We stayed overnight at The Duke of Wellington Hotel in Danby in preparation for the wedding the next day We were again blessed with dry but cold weather. The Castle is very interesting and full of character and must have been an eye opener for the many American guests. The evening’s entertainment was supplied by an Irish folk band in the old barn. The straw on the floor added to the charm. All of this can be seen by clicking on ‘Links’ above, then ‘client area’ when you’ll be asked for a password. Below are some of my many favourites.

Suzie and Alex – hope you’re having a great time in Paris and I’ll be in touch in the New Year.

Finally I’d like to wish everyone a healthy and prosperous 2009 !

Wedding photography at Wasing Park – Helen and Simon

2111 Wedding photography at Wasing Park Helen and Simon

Helen and Simon had a lovely wedding at Wasing Park in Berkshire

They had their ceremony married at the beautiful 16th church in the grounds of Wasing Park followed by the reception in The Barn. The day was bright and sunny which meant we had just

sufficient light to do group shots and some informals after the ceremony. In fact I prefer working with winter light as it is often more dramatic and directional.

The evening’s entertainment was provided by Opera on the Run This was fantastic entertainment and you can see them at work in the images below.

Helen and Simon – hope you’re having a great time in Tanzania (hope your cold has gone Helen) and look forward to seeing you on your return.

Finally a big thanks to my colleague Paul Glavin who came along to help and keep me company.
